Join Celo Pool during the sale
Before you Start
You will need the CELO token to participate in the Celo Pools to pay the network fees. You can buy CELO on exchanges like Binance, Coinbase and KuCoin. You can also buy CELO on the Celo network on Ubeswap (the Celo equivalent of Uniswap).
If you have never used the Celo network before, check out our article on how you can add it to your MetaMask to ensure your wallet is connected and funded before participating in a Polkastarter IDO Celo pool.
After you’ve successfully connected your MetaMask to Celo, proceed with the steps below:
Step 1: Navigate
Go to polkastarter.com and click “Connect Wallet” in the top right corner.
Step 2: Select Celo
On the top right-hand corner of the site, you’ll see a dropdown button that says “Ethereum”, “BSC”, "Polygon", and “Celo.”
Click on the network name and a dropdown menu will display all available networks. You should see “Celo”. Click on it.
Step 3: Confirm
The Polkastarter site is now displaying the Celo network!
If your wallet has a message saying you have selected the wrong network, please connect your MetaMask to Celo and reconnect Polkastarter with steps 1 and 2 above.
Step 4: IDO!
From here, you’re ready to participate in future Polkastarter IDOs on the Celo network.
Getting Allowlisted
On Polkastarter IDOs, to be eligible for allowlisting, users have three options:
- Hold at least 250 POLS in their wallet.
- Stake at least 250 POLS.
- Provide liquidity on Uniswap, Pancakeswap, or Ubeswap.
You can complete steps 1–3 before the IDO, and we recommend doing so to ensure everything works smoothly with your MetaMask and Celo.
And yes — it’s that easy!
